Leushkin R.V., Volkov M.P. - The problem of transformation of socio-communication space in the conditions of its informatization and virtualization pp. 23-34

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0757.2019.12.31705

Abstract: The focus of this research is associated with the phenomenon of wide proliferation of information and communication technologies and electronic means of communication. The selection of topic is substantiated by the relevance of following problems: consequences of informatization and virtualization of society; establishment of fundamental grounds of information society; occurrence of crises and challenges in the course of the development of information society. The article examines the process of transformation of socio-communication space in modern society in the context of its informatization and virtualization. The author attempts to determine and describe the basic structural peculiarities of the forming virtual socio-communication space. The research leans on N. Luhmann's theory of social systems, A. Toffler’s wave model of society, M. McLuhan’s classification of the types of communication, G. Deleuze’s philosophical concepts, and J. Baudrillard’s idea of hyperreality. It is determined that the result of informatization of society is a new form of social existence – the virtual social space. It suggests the proliferation of the network method of organization of social systems and formation of a virtual social subject therein. Network structures of the virtual social space are characterized by of deterritorialization, cybernation and decentralization. The genesis of network structures of information society increases the threat of information opposition.

Leushkin R.V. - Network forms of self-organization and management of social systems in the context of informatization and virtualization of modern society pp. 256-268

DOI:

Abstract: This work examines the specificity of virtual socio-communication space and the forms of social and political self-organization emerging within it. Due to expansion of information and communication technologies, the modern social space is subject of the processes of virtualization and informatization. On the one hand, these processes lead to the establishment of grounds for future information society; while on the other, cause a number of undesirable consequences such as information warfare, cyberterrorism and information pollution. The understanding of structural characteristics of information society, namely the emerging within it forms of management and self-governance of social systems, would allow preventing the negative effects of informatization. The research leans on the social systems theory of N. Luhmann, classification of communication types of M. Mcluhan, wave model of society of A. Toffler, concept of power of M. Foucault, and post-structuralist concepts of J. Baudrillard and G. Deleuze. The process of informatization of socio-communication space of society leads to the emergence of new forms of political organization and self-organization of social systems, establishment of virtual and network forms of governance. The main peculiarities of these forms of governance include: deterritorialization, rhizomaticity, cybernetization. Despite the difficulty in determination of the network forms of governance, the author observes more and more indirect criteria of their existence, which increases the need for studying their fundamental characteristics.

Leushkin R.V. - The Problem of Intra-Text Communication Links and Forms of Their Artistic Realization in the Novel by V.O. Pelevin "t". Narration in the Mode of Transgression pp. 204-215

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0749.2019.1.24130

Abstract: The purpose of the research is to study the basic properties of communication systems inside the text (in-text) in the work of a Russian writer Victor Pelevin based on the analysis of his novel "t". In his research Leushkin analyzed communication forms and ways in Pelevin's novel "t" as well as highlighted semantic constructions that determine the specifics of the internal communication system in the novel. On the basis of these structures, the attitude of communicative instances, the in-text system of communicative relations, its specific features and main characteristics, ways of its artistic realization, are analyzed. The research is at the junction of the theory of literature and social philosophy. This study combines narrative, poststructuralist methodology and the theory of social communication. The novelty of the research is caused by the allocation of semantic constructions as a condition for determining the interference of the in-text system of communicative connections of the novel by Victor Pelevin. It is asserted that the narration of the novel by Victor Pelevin "t" is carried out in the mode of transgression. The following types of narrative are distinguished in the text. The key feature of the structures of the communicative connections of the novel "t" is its alignment through a game with the objectification of semantic constructs and the implementation of a narrative transgression in it.

Leushkin R.V. - Information resistance in the context of informatization and virtualization of society: socio-communicative approach pp. 122-134

DOI:
10.25136/2409-7144.2018.12.28324

Abstract: The subject of this article is the most common peculiarities of the processes of information resistance and information warfare in modern society. The research objective include the assessment and analysis of the state and development prospects of information space, identification of the signs of information resistance, search for the causes of modern information warfare. The author examines the modern approaches towards studying the information resistance and information warfare; raises a question about the transformation of social structures within the framework of the process of virtualization and informatization of the society. This article uses relevant approaches to understanding of information society, information warfare and social communication theory. Socio-constructivist approach and social communication theory comprise the methodological base of this work. Leaning on this methodology, the author determines the signs of information warfare within the information space of modern society of the recent decades. Its cause lies in the global clash of the old and new “civilization”. The foundation of these civilization contains the two types of social communication systems: classical printed and electronic. Forming on the basis of information and communication technologies information society gradually replaces the established political, economic and social structures in the industrial society that is founded on the printed communication.

Leushkin R.V. - Transhumanism dimension of social communication pp. 75-87

DOI:
10.25136/2409-8728.2017.9.20322

Abstract: This article presents the results of examination of the transgressive mode of existence of social communication. Socio-ontological properties of the virtual forms of social communication, which are not characteristic for its traditional forms are subject to analysis. The author poses a problem of explication and study of the conditions for realization of the virtual social communication. Consecutive text manifests as a continuation of previous works and is dedicated to the development of the following questions: does the virtual social communication represent an ordinary form of social communication;  is there is a possibility for semantic communication in the context of social and ontological incompleteness of the existence of communicants; and whether or not is possible the existence of transhumanistic forms of semantic communication? The work applies the socio-constructivist approach, principles of systematicity, evolutionism, and polyontism (multiplicity of ontological horizons). The study is based on the theory of social-communicative systems of N. Luhmann and periodization of the development of communicative forms of M. McLuhan. The author formulates a theoretical foundation for further introduction of the development of social and communication systems outside the framework of evolution of the human species. The article depicts the impae of social and communication systems as not dependent on the human will, but self-developing formations. A corresponding definition is given to the communication subject along with the characteristic of its key features that also spread onto an artificial actor.

Leushkin R.V. - Virtual social space: conceptual framework of the research pp. 54-63

DOI:
10.25136/2409-8728.2017.7.19312

Abstract: This article deals with the concepts and terms necessary for understanding the virtual social space. It is considered as a new dimension for existence of social communication. The virtual social space is comprehended as an ontological horizon generated by the refraction of the anthropological structures in social communication systems. The structures of human existence with their natural impulses and "vectors" inevitably adapt to the tough conditions of virtual communication systems. As a result of this process, the work explicates such existential and notional form as a virtual social construct. This study is based on the theoretical foundation of structuralism, concept of social constructivism, and actively applies the concepts of poststructuralist philosophy. During the course of the research, the author developed a categorical apparatus, which allows a theoretical conceptualization of the virtual social space alongside the variety of phenomena associated with it. The author also describes the prospects and limits of the presented socio-ontological research, as well as determines the existential condition of its existence, such as the expression of communicative invariant structures in the virtual social construct.

Leushkin R.V. - Virtual social capital in the system of consumer society pp. 85-95

DOI:
10.25136/2409-7144.2017.7.20565

Abstract: This article reviews such phenomenon of modern social space as the virtual social capital. This social existential entity plays a significant role in the structuration of the social communication systems. Consumer society is presented as a social communicative system, a particular role in the organization of which is played by various social existential institutions, namely the virtual social capital. The purpose of this study consists in determination of the place and role of virtual social capital within the system of consumer society. Methodology is based on the socio-constructivist approach towards understanding society along with the theory of social communication systems. The research is based on the principle of evolution, systematicity, and multiplicity of existential horizons. This study claims that hyper-consumerism can be a result of the unconscious desire of an individual to compensate for the incompleteness of the actual existence in the conditions of virtualization of the social and cultural space. Social capital that is based on the resource of trust between the individuals within virtual communication, is capable of converting into the simulative consumer constructs ensuring their value. Such mechanism plays a crucial role in the emergence of the phenomenon of hyper-consumerism, however, it undermines the trust between the actors of social communication, reducing the resilience to external influence and rate of development of virtual social communication system.

Leushkin R.V. - Transhumanist dimension of virtual social communication pp. 78-88

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0757.2017.5.19686

Abstract: The object of this research is the virtual social communication, while the subject is the socio-ontological conditions for the existence of virtual social communication. The goal of the article consists in explication and examination of the conditions for realization of socio-ontological incomplete forms of communication, particularly the occurrences of communication involving an artificial actor. The key question raised by the author implies the following: is there is a possibility for semantic communications under the conditions of socio-ontological incompleteness. In other words, the problem of meaning-making in situation of the virtual communication is being formulated. During the course of this study, the author determines the two main directions in assessment of the role of virtual communication in development of the society: 1) pessimistic, according to which, virtualization of communication represents a meaningless path of the evolution of humanity; 2) optimistic, in which the virtual reality manifests as a factor of intensification of social dynamics in the society. It is established that the virtual communication contains the deterioration factors of the semantics of messages. The author identifies the conditions that reduce the effect of such factors.

Leushkin R.V. - Virtual social capital as a condition of formation of the information society pp. 70-80

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0757.2017.3.18206

Abstract: This article examines such socio-ontological formation as the virtual social capital. This formation is presented as the condition for existence, creation and target structuring of the foundations of the future information society. The author reviews the functions and value that is realized by the virtual social capital in the process of social informatization and virtualization. The article analyzes the properties and characteristics of the virtual social capital, as well as its differences from the traditional economic, social, and cultural capital. The forms and varieties of its existence have also been determined. The research applies the social-constructivist methodology based on the concept of social fields of P. Bourdieu alongside the theory of social communication of G. Innis, M. McLuhan and M. Castells. The main result of the study consist in the theoretical comprehensive socio-ontological representation of the virtual social capital within the structure of social communicative systems. This, in turn, allows demonstrating its place and role in the process of establishment of the future informational society, as well as highlight the prospects of formation and development of the information culture.

Leushkin R.V. - Transgressive virtual communication pp. 158-167

DOI:
10.7256/2409-7144.2015.11.1660

Abstract: The object of this research is the social communication, the subject of the social and ontological features of the virtual existence of social communication. In particular, the work is considered a fundamental state of the virtual social communication as a transgression. The paper shows that the transgressive, in virtual mode of communication in social systems is demonstrated most clearly. This occurs due to the presence of virtual communication of such properties as generated, simulative, autonomy and ontological incompleteness. On a material virtual social communication is based on the idea of transgression as the mode of existence of social communication in general. The study uses social philosophical methodology, namely social constructivist and systemic approaches are also used general poststructuralism concepts. Features transgressions, including manifest and at other forms of social communication, such as printed (written) and verbal communication. The various interpretations of the phenomenon of transgressive social communication in general, including those related to the understanding of the phenomenon of transhumanist meaningful communication. The paper also outlines the way for further research in this direction.

Leushkin R.V. - Modes of Construction of Social Reality: Autonarration and transgression pp. 98-111

DOI:
10.7256/2409-8728.2015.11.1675

Abstract: The subject of this research is a form of existence picture of social reality. The paper deals with modes of construction of social reality, its properties and the conditions of existence. As the level of the social reality represented a social construct, and narrative, expressed in the course of narration. As used in the study approach assumes that everyday reality is not constant structure of external reality and the arbitrary construction of social forms of consciousness or a set of social actors. The study examines the ontological roots of the constructed social reality. In this paper reflects a socio-philosophical approach to the understanding of everyday reality as social constructivism. The study is built using the concepts of poststructuralist philosophy. The key characteristics of social reality stand autonarration and transgression, this is due to a way of representing social reality, as the inter-subjective, self-referential and autopoetic. This means that everyday reality is a natural and self-organizing nature and the conditions of its existence are rooted in human life itself.

Leushkin R.V. - Virtual Social Communication: Transcendence or Transgression?

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0757.2015.9.15786

Abstract: This article presents the study of system and structural properties of concrete forms of social communication at a certain stage of their formation and development. The comparative research of various historical forms of social communication presented as the procedural aspects of the functioning of social communication systems. In particular, the author focuses on virtual communication as a form of social communication. The author views transcendentalism and transgression as the methods of provision of such type of communication. The former is presented in the structuralist approach to the study, the latter is presented  in the constructivist approach. Within the framework of the present research the concept of virtual social communication is based on the structural-functional and socio-constructivist approaches. The study explicated such modes of existence of virtual social communication as a virtual social space and virtual social time. It is established that regulation of the virtual social communication involves both structural and constructivist factors. At the end of the article the author makes a conclusion that further studies of virtual social phenomena can be productive only if they take into account the dual nature of such phenomena.
