Abstract: The subject of this study is the peculiarities of formation of myths about security by the student youth, viewed as the subjects of political consciousness. Its goal consists in the establishment of conceptual structures of formation of the myths about security taking into account the established political views among the student youth. The work is conducted on the intersection of the problematic of political psychology and psychology of human security, as well as leaning on the methodology of psychological science, is focused on the examination of the previously irrelevant phenomenology of security as a substantial layer of the political consciousness of student safety. The study was performed using a complex of theoretical (analysis of the source base, systematization, typology, classification) and empirical (analysis of text, expert evaluation) methods. The methodological basis is the set of scientific approaches (humanistic, axiological) and principles (determinism, communication and awareness activities, security). The main conclusion implies the fact that the student youth have the structures of political consciousness, which manifest in the reflection of the phenomena of safety. Its results lie in the identification of the vectors of subjective reflection of security, strategies of formation of the myths about security, classification of values of security within the political consciousness of student youth. The scientific novelty of consists in examination of the myths about security in the structure of the students’ political consciousness using the methods of psychological science. The article contains the empirical material and generalizations, which allow adjusting the work with students with regards to safety issues and increase of their political activity.

Abstract: The research subject is security myths considered as an element of political consciousness of an individual or a society. Security myths are understood as a subject-specified type of mythological material, which, due to its pre-reflective reasonability, guarantees uncritical assumption of values, strategies and tactics in the sphere of security. The purpose of the study is to substantiate security myths as an essential element of political consciousness, constantly reproducing conventional truths in the sphere of security, but easily adapted to the modern conditions of its provision. The authors use theoretical analysis of the problem, including the logical procedures of analysis and synthesis, specification and generalization. The authors extrapolate general provisions, which reveal the nature of the phenomena of security and myth, on the problem field created in the process of security myths studying. The authors substantiate the necessity to consider security myths as an element of political consciousness, and formulate the introduction and the essential characteristic of the set of functions (information, orientation, identification, compensation, manipulation, and mobilization) realized by the phenomenon. Theoretical constructs and generalizations can serve as a basis for applied research revealing the peculiarities of security myths in political consciousness of various types of subjects. The authors introduce a security myth category into the development of a problem field of political psychology, and substantiate its fundamental positions as an element of political consciousness. The authors conclude about the possibility to introduce a mythological problematic into the research field of political psychology.

Abstract: The subject of this research is the scientific prospects of implementation of the safety principle into the problem object field of political psychology. Currently, the phenomenon of safety is the subject of interdisciplinary examination at the level of micro-, meso-, and macro objects. This is encourage by the universal demand of its elements for the various social spheres and life-sustaining activity of a human as they provide the possibility for support the integrity of safety and ability developmental potential of its possessors. The leading material of human factor in ensuring safety substantiates the leading role of psychology in search of the solutions that emerged tasks. Specification of the informative and functional peculiarities of safety may contribute into positioning of safety as the core of the principle that controls the development of problem object field of political psychology. The functional substantiation of safety nu the core of the administrative principle is carried put on the basis of introduction and informative characteristics of the provided by its functions of interpretations, activation, and regulation of the corresponding phenomenology. The conclusion is made on the possibility and necessity of the implementation of the safety principle for resolution of the research and practice oriented task, which occur within the problem object field of political psychology.

Abstract: The subject under research of the present article is the conceptual grounds for building the system of psychological safety at a higher education establishment. The article was written at the confluence of the psychology of education, psychology of personal safety and psychology of corporate safety. That allowed the authors to apply theoretical findings of the aforesaid branches of psychological knowledge to creating their own concepts. The authors provide a detailed description of the contents and structure of the key elements of the psychological safety system at a higher education institute. They emphasize the need to develop the main principles the psychological safety system can be based on at a University. Special attention is paid to interpretation of the terms introduced by the authors for analyzing the psychological safety system at a higher education establishment. In order to achieve the goals of the research, the authors have applied the methods of the theoretical analysis, generalization and systematization of the key phenomena as well as analysis of the possibility to apply such empirical methods as observation and survey. The scientific novelty ofthe research is caused by the fact that the authors describe the main components of psychological safety at a University such as social-psychological, reputation and anti-terrorist safety. For the first time in the academic literature the authors view University reputation safety in terms of anti-corruption and image-building stability. The results of the research allow to refer integrity, systematicity, consistency, noncontradiction, continuity and succession as the main principles for building the system of psychological safety at a higher education university.

Abstract: The object of the present research is the security signs and customs practiced by university students. The authors of the article offer their own interpretation of security signs and customs. The research is based on discovering psychological peculiarities of security signs and customs, their types and functions. The hypothesis of the present research is that security signs are a necessary socio-cultural phenomenon of the student life and they allow to achieve a number of important tasks of life-sustaining activity. To achieve the research objective to define psychological peculiarities of security signs and customs used by students, the authors have applied the methods of observation, interview and survey. The scientific novelty of the research is caused by the fact that the authors offer provide own interpretation of security signs and customs, describe their functions and offer their classification. Peculiarities of security signs and customs include their attribution to the socio-cultural experience of a subject, multifunctionality, subjective importance and loss of the connection with what caused them initially. All the security signs and customs have been divided into the following three groups: preventing, neutralizing and producing. Functions of security signs and customs include protection, adaptation adn therapy. The authors conclude that security signs and customs create an organic layer of life-sustaining activity performed by a modern young person in order to solve important tasks.
