Tatianchenko N.P. - Psychological conditions for the formation of adaptation potential of an individual in the learning process pp. 62-77

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0722.2021.1.32485

Abstract:   This article is dedicated to examination of psychological conditions of the formation of adaptation potential of an individual in the learning process. It is established that the personal adaptation potential is the interconnected psychological characteristics of a person that determine success of adaptation to the external environment. Leaning on the analysis of literature sources, the author built a research model that reveals the following factors affecting formation of adaptation potential: psychic stability, adequate self-esteem, communication skills, behavioral regulation, coping behavior and group interaction skills. For assessing the adaptive capabilities and individual psychological characteristics of the students, the author applied the following methods: empirical (multi-level personal questionnaire “Adaptability” by A. G. Maklakov, S. V. Chermyanin; methodology “Socio-psychological comfort of the environment” by A. G. Maklakov; coping-test of R. Lazarus, S. Folkman, translated by T. L. Kryukova, E. V. Kuftyak and M. S. Zamyshlyaeva; Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire; mathematical-statistical (correlation analysis) Spearman's Rank Correlation Coefficient; nonparametric comparison method of the two related samples (Wilcoxon signed-rank test). The scientific novelty of the presented materials consists in the development of scientific representation of psychological conditions of the formation of adaptation potential of an individual in the learning process, as well as in identification of the causes of maladaptation (emotional instability, low self-control, propensity for authoritarian behavior, low conformity and normativity of behavior). The acquired experimental data on the level of development of adaptation potential of the students allow predicting the success of their learning process. The provided materials can be used by psychologists and pedagogues in organization of work aimed at prevention of maladaptative conditions among adolescents.

Tatianchenko N.P. - Personality Determinants of Deviant Behavior Demonstrated by Technical College Students pp. 38-45

DOI:
10.25136/2409-8701.2018.4.26049

Abstract: The subject of this research is the personality determinants of deviant behavior of adolescents. The object of the rsearch is the students of technical college. The author of the article analyzes various types of deviant behavior that have been demonstrated by the students.Referring to the problem of teaching adolescents with deviant behavior in a technical school, the author of the article emphasizes the presence of certain difficulties in the organization of the educational process associated with increased excitability, impulsivity, lack of self-control in the motor and emotional spheres, propensity towards conflict, stubbornness, negativism, aggressiveness of such students. In this regard, special importance is attached to the timely identification of such students and the study of the relationship of deviant behavior with such psychological categories as hopelessness, anxiety, and self-esteem. In the course of the research, the following package of methods and psychodiagnostic tools was used: the questionnaire to determine the level of self-esteem (as offered by S.V. Kovalev), test for multidimensional assessment of child anxiety (MODT) (offered by E. Malkova (Romitsyna), deviant behavior inventory (offered by A. Oryol), Beck depression scale; and methods of mathematical data processing. The novelty of the research is caused by the authors' formulation and solution of the problem of determining personal determinants in the formation of deviant behavior among students at a secondary specialized educational institution. Theoretical and practical conclusions of the study can help a deeper understanding of the specifics of this phenomenon, the role of the technical school in the manifestation of deviations of a destructive orientation. The obtained empirical data to a certain extent expands the scientific understanding of psychological categories that contribute to the realization of deviant behavior and can serve as a basis for the further development of substantive aspects of the indicated problem.

Tatianchenko N.P. - Psychological Means of Projecting Positive Motivation of Contract Servicemen pp. 991-997

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0722.2016.12.20821

Abstract: The subject of the research is the role of a subjective image of a serviceman in the process of developing professional motivation as well as dependence of motivation on values and attitude of a serviceman towards his professional and psychological means used to develop positive motivation of contract servicemen's professional activity. Analyzing differences in subjective images of servicemen and values demonstrated by respondents in two groups, the author defines that in most cases one's unwillingness to serve relates to the society's disapproval of contract service in general. In addition, military officers who do not want to be contract servicemen usually do not see their military career as a way to self-realise their ambitions. The group of respondents who want to serve, on the contrary, demonstrate a dominating value of moral satisfaction from their career but not good pay. In the course of the research the author has used the following psychological tests: Personality Motivation Structure Inventory (Milman), Terminal Values Questionnaire (Senin), and Semantic Differential Test. To process the data, the author has used the SPSS package (version 13.0). Data received in two empirical groups were processed using the U Mann Witney Criterion. The scientific novelty of the research is caused by the fact that the author develops a concept of military service particularities and defines the reasons of them being unwilling to serve as contract servicemen (in particular, distorted image of a contract serviceman, undeveloped value of military activity and extreme professional activity). These data can be used in military by the management team and military psychologists as well as the matter of other researches.
