Abstract:
developing research methods in Russian child psychology is closely connected to its methodological backgrounds and such conceptual problems as diagnosing mental development, understanding child’s inner world, his inner plan of activity, his motives and goals. The most important achievement appeared to be the “holistic” approach to studying and observing the child.
