Tishchenko N.V. - Gulag and Discursive Practices: Tough Route of Russian Authors in Soviet Labour Camps pp. 1-43
Abstract: The purpose of the present article is to reveal features of the discourse represented in the texts of Russian writers who were in the Soviet forced labour camps during the Stalin era. Analyzed texts were brought altogether under the rubric of “metaphysical discourse". Those were classified texts written by Russianauthors as the memories of their time in Gulag. With the help of technology discourse analysis, the author of the article defined key signs of the metaphysical discourse "prison - freedom", "power - anarchy", "knowledge - faith" and "life - death." The analysis allowed us to identify key strategies of resistance to criminal values in the social system. The special feature of the present research is that the discourse-analytical methodology was applied to the analysis of weakly structured sources - literary texts. Comparison of discursive practices suggested by literary texts to social practices shows that the metaphysical discourse project has appeared to be undemanded in our culture. It has not been updated to be used in social practices and has become the part of the historical archive. The metaphysical discourse revealed the internal contradictions that did not allow it to affect social practices. First of all, it is a latent mixture of metaphysical discourse statements with criminal traditions which was unavoidable under the conditions of the forced labour camp. Secondly, the image of the prison subculture did not have the effect it was expected. People did not treat it with disgust or intolerance. Quite on the contrary, there was the heroic image of a prizoner fighting against unfair and wrong government. That created the phenomenon of Russian culture that is known as the 'prisonization' - acceptance of standards and values of the prison subculture as an essential part of everyday life.
Tradition and innovation
Kleschev D.S. - Key of David (on Solution of David Hilbert's Second Problem pp. 44-118
Abstract: Intuitionism school of thought helped to reconstruct the three crises lying in the basis of mathematic. The author of the article has discovered the facts of rude falsification of the genesis of the theory of incommensurable segments and modern theory of irrational numbers which are traditionally related to establishment of the multiple-theory paradigm at the end of XIX century. Based on the results of researches conducted by a Dutch mathematician Luitzen Brouwer in 1911 and a Soviet mathematician Andrey Kolmogorov in 1925, the author suggests the negative solution of David Hilbert's second problem.
Philosophy of language and communication
Breskin V. - Triad: Method for Studying the Core of the Semiotic Parity of Language and Art pp. 119-159
Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to present and describe a new method for studying the pre-speech language. The suggested approach allows to relate epistemology of linguistics to ideological traditions of other scientific disciplines. The method is based on three linguistic categories – nouns, verbs, and interjections in their motor and expressive qualities – and their relation to the three basic forms of art – graphics (visual art), movement (dance), and sound (music). The study considers this correlation as caused by the nature of the human receptor system. This method explains the nature of art and the phenomenon of aesthetics and allows for the chronological arrangement of important cultural processes; it identifies the fundamental unanimity of the semiotic nature of language and art.

The history of humanitarian science
Spiridonova Y.V. - Genesis of the International Protection of Cultural Heritage in the 1930's pp. 184-209
Abstract: The 1930's had laid the foundation for the international protection of cultural heritage based on which the future UNESCO activity was built. The attempt to find a comprehensive solution of problems in this sphere became the main feature of that period. The present article is devoted to analysis of the principal initiatives of the International Committee of Museums presented in the form of conferences, charters and international agreements as well as unrealized projects of international conventions in the field of cultural heritage preservation. Preconditions of formation of the international system of protection of monuments are traced from the middle of the XIX century.
