It is proved that being realized as a self-identification, system of values and continuity of values and service, faith is a mechanism which helps to overcome egoism. Abstract: French philosopher Jean Baudrillard pays signification attention at differentiation of the terms ‘sign’, ‘symbol’ and ‘simulacrum’. The attribute which allows to differentiate these terms is their relation to objectivity. According to the author, a sign is always objective and refers to objectivity. Symbol is objective but does not refer to objectivity. Simulacrum tears apart the connection between a sign and objectivity.

Dodonov, Yu. S. - Analysis of Personal Parameters of Quantity Recognition Time and Their Relations to Speed and Intellect pp. 57-64
Abstract: The article is devoted to simple cognitive tasks with growing complexity as a special type of cognitive tasks for speed. As an example, the author analyzes the task of quantity recognition; it is demonstrated that in this task the response time increases when the number of represented stimulus rises. The author describes a possible scheme of analyzing the response time which would allow to take into account personal differences in the patterns of increasing recognition time when the number of represented stimulus is risen. The obtained personal parameters are analyzed from the point of view of their relation with the parameters of speed and intellect.

Abstract: Based on the analysis of historical and scientific materials the author reconstructs the social ‘biography’ of the Soviet psychotechnics. The author describes fortunes of its founders, stages and conditions of formation and liquidation of this research and practice disccipline in the Soviet Russia. The article also describes the peculiar dynamics of methodological views of the Soviet experts in psychotechnics and proves the dependence of applied science on social conditions such as: economy, ideology and politics. Special attention is paid at the results of state control over the development of the fundamental and applied sciences; at the end of the article the author makes a conclusion about prevailing negative consequences caused by the limiting science policy dung the totalitarian regime.

Carron, G. - The Imaginary, Symbolism and Reversibility: Merleau-Ponty’s Unique Approach to Unconsciousness (translated by I. S. Vdovina) pp. 36-47
Abstract: The article of a French scientist G. Carron studies Merleau-Ponty’s peculiar approach to the problem of unconsciousness first developed by Z. Freud. Carron traced back the evolution of Merleau-Ponty’s teaching about the unconsciousness from his first works (“La structure du comportement”, 1942; “La phenomenologie de la perception”, 1945 and others) up to his incomplete work “le visible et l’invisible” (1964). He also explains the definitions of the imaginary, symbolism and reversibility which allows to see the metaphor of dynamism and structure of the process of knowledge in the unconsciousness.
