Abstract:
Spirova, E. M. - Adler about Split Human Existence pp. 51-56
Abstract: Adler continued the topic of the ‘split’ human existence which had been started by Freud. Adler appealed to the phenomenon of human nature and showed that the harmony of human nature is usually broken up from inside. The author of the article pays special attention at Adler’s topic of power mania.

Konson, G. R. - Scientific and Critical Literature on the Psychology of Andrey Kovrin in Anton Chekhov’s Story ‘The Black Monk’ pp. 53-62

DOI:

Abstract: The article is devoted to interpretations of the image of Andrey Kovrin from Anton Chekhov’s story ‘The Black Monk’ in scientific and critical literature. Researchers still haven’t arrived at a common view on the interpretation of this literary hero. According to Konson, during his meetings with the monk the main character learns new meanings and therefore understands that he was wrong trying to find happiness not in himself but in excelling his surroundings. Based on that, Andrey Kovrin experiences what is usually called the ‘symbolic transformation’ in psychology, or a ‘new connection between ‘Self’ and the other world’ (definition offered by Pavel Gurevich). The research method used by the author combines several types of analysis – ethical-philosophical, psychological, historical, literary and comparative analysis. which, in general, allows to expand capacities of anthropological knowledge. The scientific novelty of the article is caused by the fact that Konson offers his own interpretation of the images of the black monk and Andrey Kovrin. According to Konson, the black monk is a mirage that appears in the exhausted de-personified mind of Andrey Kovrin and the monk’s prophecy becomes the meaning of Kovrin’s existence. When Andrey creates his world perception at a new philosophical level, he is finally settled in life.
Keywords: Anton Chekhov’s story, Andrey Kovrin, black monk, scientist, de-personified consciousness, sanity and insanity, magnitude, genius, mental, psychiatry, twin, doppelganger.
Yatmanov A.N. - Dynamics in Values of N.G. Kuznetsov Naval Academy Students pp. 55-59

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0722.2017.4.24803

Abstract: The article is devoted to the dynamics and structure of values of N.G. Kuznetsov Naval Academy students demonstrated during their attendance of the University. Students' values were defined using the Semantic Differential Inventory. The test was based on 12 bipolar seven-point scales. The research involved 302 students aged 17 - 26 years old including 53 first-, 80 second-, 87 third-, 48 fourth-, and 34 fifth-year students. The research methodology is based on comparative analysis of these groups. To deffine values and motivation of students, the author has used factor analysis of main components using Varimax normalized rotation. The leading values of students appeared to be family, career and successful future. Students related their ideal Self to military service and discipline, responsibility and being in a military environment associated with military service. As for real Self, they associated it with family and future, career and material prosperity.

Zolotareva, A. A. - Perfectionism in the structure of self-identity pp. 58-68
Abstract: The article reflects methodological, methodical and empirical issues of the psychology of perfectionism as well as allows to look at the phenomenon of perfectionism from the point of view of self-regulation psychology. The study allows to describe specific and non-specific determinants of perfectionism an shows the role of perfectionism in the structure of personal psychological resources. The author also discusses psychological indicators of normal and pathological types of perfectionism determining basic characteristics of these phenomena in the structure of personal self-regulation. Normal perfectionism is shown as a psychological resource which reflects a positive starvation towards perfection and combines a constant personal growth and ability to control resources. Pathological perfectionism is a disturbance of self-regulation which is caused by negative starvation towards perfection and shows itself as a failure to control personal resources.
Keywords: psychology, personality, perfectionism, normal, pathological self-regulation, personal psychological resources, vitality, disadaptation.
Druzhinin O.A., Efimova V.L., Yakubova G.A., Rasulov E.Y. - Comparative analysis of sensorimotor reactions of female boxers and non-boxing female university students pp. 70-84

DOI:

EDN: SJDTJU

Abstract: The subject of the study is sensorimotor reactions of female boxers and not boxers female university students. The study involved 20 female athletes who are members of the Uzbek national boxing team and 46 female students of the pedagogical university who are not engaged in boxing. Sensorimotor tests were performed on high-precision analog equipment. The study consisted of 6 tests. The statistical analysis was carried out using the Python programming language. Female boxers showed significantly higher results in instrumental tests evaluating motor responses to auditory and visual stimuli. The advantage of the athletes was manifested in both simple and complex sensorimotor reactions. Female athletes showed a shorter reaction time to auditory and visual stimuli, both in simple and complex sensorimotor tests: more target reactions to a moving object; more of target reactions under time constraints in a dynamic test; higher endurance of the nervous system during the tapping test. The high quality of sensorimotor reactions is a prerequisite for the success of athletes in female boxing. Sensorimotor tests are considered cognitive, so the results of the study show a high cognitive potential of female athletes. The results of sensorimotor tests are related to the quality of executive functions, including memory, cognitive flexibility and inhibitory control. A comparative analysis of the sensorimotor reactions of female boxers and female students using instrumental diagnostic methods was carried out for the first time. The data obtained complement the understanding of the relationship between human motor and cognitive development. A high level of development of simple and complex sensorimotor reactions contributes to success, both in sports and other activities. Playing sports can contribute not only to the physical development of a person, but also increase his cognitive potential.

Enfi, A. S. - Sublimation Psychology: Essence Coding Theory and Sympho-Electronic Music as Tools for Deep Psychotherapy in Art-Humanitarian Practice pp. 167-172

DOI:

Abstract: The article addresses the need for a new direction of psychology known as “sublimation psychology”, prerequisites for the creation of which have emerged in the scientific discoveries of the last decades in the fields of psychoneuroendocrinology, psychoneurology and psychogenetics. In the context of developing sublimation psychology, we have investigated the various properties and characteristics of “Sympho-Electronic Music” (SEM) — a new musical genre, which has a strong essence impact potential. We analyze the advantages of using SEM in the deepessence psychotherapy of art-humanitarian practice (AHP), based on the implementation of the major principles and fundamental medical and psychological aspects of Essence Coding Theory (ECT). Primarily, the article uses a complex methodological concept, in which the basal toolkit of holistic meta-heuristic ECT doctrine takes a central, key position. We show a fundamental difference of sublimation psychology from all other areas of psychology, expressed by its explicit focus on the scope of various ethical attributions and aesthetic competencies implemented in AHP. In the context of developing various aspects of AHP, we introduce new concepts, such as “essence code”, “essence psycho-neuroendocrine status”, “essence R-E neuroprocessing”, “essence genome-hormonal reception”, “essence transmutation”, “vital information system”, “ethical levels”, “passionary-evolutionary ethics”, “sublimation aesthetics”, “exo-psychological control”, “dormant genomic programs”, “matrix of essence standards”, “detector of essence errors”, “code of spiritual rank”, “aestheticsublimation insight”, “immortalization index”, “noematic theurgy” and others. We have identified reasons for which the psychotechnics of art-humanitarian practice should use music created with digital technology, and especially the music of the pioneering genre SEM, closely associated with such new musicological concepts as “timbrekeeping”, “emotive typology of timbre”, “class of organs”,“sympho-electronic organ”, “sonoristic analysis”, “sonoristic matrix”, “sonoristic bench mark”, “sacral acoustics”, “coding-numeric score”, “coding-numeric aesthetics”, etc.

Berezina T.N. - Criteria of the Good in Ordinary Representations of Students

DOI:
10.7256/2454-0722.2015.7.15789

Abstract: The article is devoted to the category of the good in psychology and humanities. In her research Berezina states that this is a rather understudied topic compared to the category of the evil and explains that this is because the good is a complex phenomenon. It is assumed that in human mind the category of the good can exist in the form of a nonverbal image of the highest order constituting the 'over consciousness'. Intellect and a number of other phenomena are likewise represented in human mind. The methodology that is used to study complex mental phenomena is based on the concept of social (ordinary) representations. The purpose of the article is to analyze students' ordinary representations of the good man as well as to define criteria that are used by the respondents to develop a positive judgement of other people. As a result, Berezina defines the following four criteria. 'Good activity' is the commission of a good act towards someone who makes a judgement. 'Good fellowship' is an indirect citerion when someone is thought to be a good and kind person based on his/her behavior towards the third persons. 'Good nature' is a personal criterion when someone is thought to be kind judging from his/her positive qualities such as empathy and compassion rather than his/her behavior. 'Good conscience' is when someone is considered to be a kind person because he or she has a sense of conscience and regrets committing negative actions.
